BUNKIT FAQ
It's great that you already have some of these items, but to be ultimately prepared, you want to have all of these things in 1 place. It's great if you have a flashlight, but if you forgot to pack it or don't have the batteries for it, it doesn't do much good. That's why we have intentionally built in duplicated items. The ones in the kit can stay in the kit, and you'll never have to worry about knowing where they are when you need them.
Yeah! The Ultimate Survival Kit and the Ultimate Home Kit are bigger and have more items than the average 72-hour kit, but they’re still easy to store. They can easily fit in a closet, in the garage, or under a bed. It doesn’t matter too much where you store your kit, just make sure it’s easily accessible. A survival kit isn’t very useful if you can’t find it or get to it when you need to.
We’ve created our kits so that only a few items will need to be replaced, and they need to be replaced between 5 and 15 years after purchase. The only items that need to be replaced in either of the kits would be the consumables and batteries.
If that happens, then you should celebrate because you haven’t been in a disaster! No one wants to be in a disaster situation, but if you are in one, you’ll be grateful that you were prepared.
Most other kits you’ll find are 72-hour kits posing as survival kits. Our kits are built to make it easy to survive. That means we have more unique items and more total pieces than other survival kits. We also have longer food options, making our kits up to 10 times better than a 72-hour kit.
